Richard Lewis is officially returning for Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 12.

The comedian confirmed on Twitter today that he would be back for the next installment of Larry David's long-running comedy.

"I'm back shooting Curb!" he wrote. "I'm a lucky cat to be with my oldest pal who just so happens to be a genius. Don't tell him I called him that or he'll mock me to my grave. A 22 year ride so far!"

Lewis has recurred as a fictionalized version of himself in the series since it premiered in 2000. He only appeared in Season 11 once due to health issues, as he was recovering from multiple back and shoulder surgeries. The number of episodes Lewis will appear in this time around is not yet known.

HBO renewed Curb Your Enthusiasm for a twelfth season in August. A premiere date has not been announced yet.

Curb Your Enthusiasm Seasons 1-11 are streaming on HBO Max.
