It has been 27 years since Amy Lynn Bradley disappeared on a family Caribbean cruise, and her case has baffled law enforcement and amateur sleuths across the globe.
Amy, 23, disappeared on March 24, 1998, from the Royal Caribbean cruise ship Rhapsody of the Seas during a vacation.
Yet, since then, despite numerous possible sightings and several international investigations, no one knows where Amy is.
The renewed interest in her disappearance was inspired by the Netflix documentary Amy Bradley Is Missing, which features the family’s 20-year search for her while exploring new leads and witness testimony.
Amy Bradley’s family operates an official website called Amy Bradley Is Missing, for her search.
The site displays information regarding her disappearance, images of Amy, and requests for information.
According to a report by Time, her family still updates the website, and they have noticed that someone from Curaçao and Barbados frequently checks the site around holidays and anniversaries, sometimes spending up to 45 minutes on it.
This has led them to speculate that Amy may herself be checking in.
Amy is still missing as of 2025. It has been more than two decades since she vanished and in spite of a relentless push for answers from her family and law enforcement partners such as the FBI, it’s still unsolved.
The parents updated the website recently on July 16, 2025.
Amy was supposedly on a vacation with her parents and brother when she vanished from their cruise ship while it was docked in Curaçao.
According to the Amy Bradley Is Missing website, her dad had seen her sitting out on the balcony of their cabin at around 5:15 am but When 7 am rolled around, there was no sign of Amy.
Royal Caribbean did a cursory search of the ship at first and waited two days to conduct a full sweep. She was never heard of again, and no dead body was ever found.
Amy’s disappearance led to rumors which stated that she either fell off the ship or was taken away.
But her family has long thought she was abducted, and this hypothesis was given a boost by several witness reports over the years suggesting that she could still be alive.

One of the most important reported sightings took place in April 2003 in San Francisco.
One witness reported seeing someone resembling Amy Bradley at Fisherman’s Wharf in the company of two men.
According to reports, the woman looked frightened and gave the witness a pleading expression before the men pushed her along.
The FBI later released composite sketches of the two men, calling them “handlers.” The FBI kept these sketches on their website for more than a decade.
Other sightings have placed Amy in Curaçao and Barbados, according to other reports.
At a bar in Curaçao, a woman said she was Amy and was being held against her will, one Navy veteran said.
The Netflix film concludes with her mother, Iva Bradley, breaking down in tears and pleading with people who have information to come forward.
As the search continues, people hope that the family’s persistence is rewarded with some sort of evidence or explanation.
