Dana Carvey Impersonates Joe Biden, Revives Classic SNL Characters on Kimmel

Carvey also revealed where his iconic SNL characters are now.
  • Jimmy Kimmel Live! guest host Dana Carvey treated viewers to a blast from the past Monday night as he revived his classic characters from Saturday Night Live.

Carvey also updated viewers on what his iconic characters are doing now, including Garth from Wayne's World, who Carvey said "runs a marijuana dispensary in Aurora." Hans from "Hans and Franz" is "in Boca Raton skipping leg day right now because his thighs have reached maximum swell."

As for the Church Lady? She's "in jail for defrauding members of her megachurch, and we still have no idea where she was on January 6," he joked.

From there, Carvey launched into an impersonation of President Joe Biden.

"By the way, have you noticed that Biden's gotten a little feistier lately?" he asked Kimmel's audience. "Because when he first came out, he was like a soothing grandpa offering you a butterscotch from his coin purse."

Carvey then offered a few different Biden impressions, imitating the way Biden alternates between a whisper and a yell.

Later in the monologue, SNL alum nailed impressions of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bill Clinton, and Paul McCartney, kicking off his two-night stint on Kimmel in a memorable fashion.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs weeknights at 11:35 PM ET on ABC.
