Did CoryxKenshin get cancelled? 2024 loss in subscriber count rumor explored amid recent abuse allegations

Cory “CoryxKenshin” DeVante Williams is facing abuse allegations from TikToker @pandaninjaxxofficial, who was supposedly dating him at one point. She accused the YouTuber of mentally and emotionally abusing her in a three-part story on TikTok. After the accusations surfaced, Williams has become a subject of online discussion. 

It is not the first time CoryxKenshin has been at the center of a controversy. Earlier this year, some online users tried to cancel the content creator while accusing him of glancing at his stylist. While the YouTuber wasn’t cancelled, he called out the TikTok users for fabricating the claims. Per Dexerto, CoryxKenshin also apologized to his braider and said, 

“I’m so sorry you got dragged into all of this. She asked me if she could record the process, it would help her business. And me being me, the most private guy ever, I’m like, ‘You know what, if this is gonna help your business… let’s do it.'” 

He further declared, 

“Y’all will never get no other clips of me!…Y’all taking that clip and blowing it up that much — y’all need to find something to do” 

Apart from some viewers trying to cancel him earlier this year, a rumor around the YouTuber’s decreasing subscriber count also made rounds on Reddit in 2024. According to SPEAKRJ, CoryxKenshin’s subscribers have grown consistently, without any reported dip. Thus, the claims of his cancellation in 2024 are also untrue. 

Moreover, his YouTube channel has over 22.5 million subscribers, with 300K added within the last 30 days, per Social Blade.

In separate TikTok posts, PandaNinjaXx_Official (@pandaninjaxxofficial) recalls her supposed toxic relationship with Cory DeVante Williams. She accused CoryxKenshin of emotional and mental abuse, manipulation, narcissistic behavior, love-bombing, gaslighting, emotional abandonment, status-fueled cruelty, and illness-related trauma. 

In the first post of her three-part series, “The Truth About Your Favorite YouTuber,” PandaNinjaXx_Official shared multiple slides. She alleged that CoryxKenshin “ghosted her,” 

“You ghosted me... not because you were confused, but to teach me a lesson. You made me feel like I had to shrink just to earn a reply. Every move was calculated, even if I couldn't see it back then.” 

She added, 

“Any time I tried to speak up, you twisted it into something wrong with me. And while I sat alone, replaying every word, breaking myself apart just trying to make sense of it... they were out here calling you a "Positive Role Model."

PandaNinjaXx_Official recounted the alleged instances of emotional abandonment, manipulation, and gaslighting and asserted how it impacted her. In the next part, she shared some screenshots of her text exchange with CoryxKenshin, highlighting the alleged toxic relationship. She continued in the third part by sharing more screenshots and her side of the story. 

In a clip, the TikTok claimed that she was not the only person whom Cory allegedly hurt. She captioned the video, 

“Bacon Avocado. I dated Cory Kenshin... and he hurt me really bad... and I'm not the only one.” 

In another video, she captures herself talking to Cory, while asking him whether he watched her sleep. The YouTuber said, 

“Then I woke up again and it was awful. (@pandaninjaxxofficial says, 'Did you watch me sleep?' Hmm? Yeah. I actually did something to you while you were sleeping. (@pandaninjaxxofficial replies, 'What?') I'm sorry, I just got this fetish that I do. I didn't hurt you. You're good. Right?” 

While PandaNinjaXx_Official’s TikTok posts have received attention from many social media users, CoryxKenshin has yet to respond to the accusations.
