American Horror Story will premiere its eleventh season this fall, according to FX.

No official premiere date was announced when FX chairman John Landgraf revealed the news during the Television Critics Association's summer press tour on Tuesday. However, with the short timeline between now and fall it's likely that  details such as the season's title, theme, cast, and premiere date are coming soon.

The news comes just days after multiple American Horror Story fan sites and social media accounts announced they would be going on strike and would not promote the franchise until Season 11 was "formally acknowledged." The fans who run the accounts accused FX and Ryan Murphy of relying largely on the series' dedicated fanbase to "thanklessly" promote the show.

American Horror Story is available to stream on Hulu.
