WATCH: The Flashy First Teaser for American Horror Story: NYC Reveals Nothing, As Usual

Something is rotten in the Big Apple, but the teaser tells us little else.
  • The first teaser for American Horror Story: NYC is here, but it reveals almost nothing about the season ahead.

Full of eerie bondage imagery, the teaser for Season 11 of Ryan Murphy's horror anthology series promises "the deadliest year" yet and "a season like no other".

American Horror Story: NYC stars a mix of regular Murphy collaborators and new faces including Joe Mantello, Billie Lourd, Zachary Quinto, Russell Tovey, Leslie Grossman, Charlie Carver, Sandra Bernhard, Isaac Powell, Denis O’Hare and Patti LuPone.

The series' official description tells us "mysterious deaths and disappearances ramp up in the city" this season, while "a doctor makes a frightening discovery, and a local reporter becomes tomorrow’s headline". Leave it to Ryan Murphy to keep things as vague as possible.

American Horror Story: NYC returns to FX October 19 with a two-episode premiere event, followed by two episodes each subsequent Wednesday.
