Streamer Adin Ross opened up about receiving a $140 million deal from live streaming platform Kick alongside fellow streamers Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed. During a live stream on July 18, Ross commented on the deal and claimed that both Cenat and IShowSpeed refused to enter into the deal with Kick.

Sharing that the three streamers and influencers were offered the deal by the CEO of Kick, Ed Craven, Ross said,

“I just remember this conversation, I’ll never forget this convo I had with Eddie. Eddie says to me ‘Adin, I have like a $140 million for you, Speed, and Kai. You get this sh*t done, you guys, $140m for the first year.’”

Ross also revealed that the deal included the possibility of re-signing the streamers. He added,

“If this sh*t works, we’ll re-sign you guys. And that’s no gamble, by the way. That was no gambling. If somebody did the math and a 140 divided by 3? I don’t know what the f**k that is and that’s no gambling, I swear.”

Ross was referring to Cenat’s live stream where he expressed disappointment with the competitiveness between live streaming platforms such as Twitch, Rumble and Kick, which propelled content creators to align with one platform over another.

According to Dexerto, Kick reportedly made Ross, Cenat and Speed the offer in 2023 when it launched and signed Canadian streamer xQc for a reported $100 million.

In addition to Adin Ross, IShowSpeed has also referred to being offered a deal by Kick

During a December 2024 conversation with YouTuber Jon Youshaei, IShowSpeed also opened up about being offered a plum deal by Kick.

“Me and Kick, yeah, we did have talks back in like 2023, I think, yeah, that’s when it happened. Yeah, me and Kick had talks in 2023. Yeah, we did have conversations, but they didn’t get anywhere to be honest, they didn’t get anywhere.”

Speed, as IShowSpeed is also known in short, also spoke about the need to be comfortable with deals that come his way. He said,

“There’s been deal where obviously it’s a lot of money. Obviously like it’s a lot of, lot of money. But, like a lot of money. When I say a lot of money, it’s like, you know, jaw-dropping money, that came our way. But you know, [there] comes cons with that. And I felt like, what comes with that, I feel like, if I took that deal, it would change who I am or what type of person I am or my content, you know.”

Continuing, Speed went on to add,

“And I hate taking risks like that. I hate taking deals where I feel like, ‘nah, that’s really not me.’ You know, this might mess up you know, my YouTube career…I really try to take it at my own pace when it comes to like deals, you know, what feels right. Alway what feels right.”

During his interview with Youshaei, Speed shared an insight into his income from content creation, and he revealed that while about 40% of his income comes from YouTube AdSense, around 60% of the money that he makes comes from brand deals.

Dexerto noted that while IShowSpeed and Kai Cenat reportedly did not take Kick’s $140 million deal, they did go on to sign a partnership with Rumble to produce an exclusive show.
