Jake Paul, 28, and his team have reacted to Piers Morgan's comments after the YouTuber defeated Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in the ring.

It appears the YouTuber-turned-boxer has had enough. As Dexerto reported, he is now taking a firm stand against the ongoing misinformation about his boxing career.

He is ready to take legal action. Reportedly, his legal team prepares to aggressively pursue people spreading false claims after years of letting the rumors slide.

Paul's statement to sue people over "lies" comes after Piers Morgan's X (formerly Twitter) post on June 29, 2025.

Sharing a screenshot of Piers Morgan Uncensored, the journalist captioned his X post,

"BREAKING: I had a better fight with Jake Paul on Thursday than the unwatchable farce that took place tonight."

    Recalling Paul's game, Morgan remarked,

"The guy’s lining his pockets with buckets of $$$$ - but he’s killing boxing with this boring staged bullsh*t against older fighters way past their prime."

Paul's promo partner, Nakisa Bidarian, stood in support of him and defended him by calling Piers Morgan's comments "baseless and irresponsible."

Replying to the host's X post, Bidarian wrote,

"This claim is baseless and irresponsible.  Last night’s fight vs. Chavez Jr. was a fully sanctioned 10-round cruiserweight bout, officiated by the California State Athletic Commission with official judges.  No staging / rigging —just hard work and a legit win."

Expressing his frustration, he further continued:

"To say otherwise not only undermines the integrity of the sport, but is defamatory and causes reputational damage to MVP, Jake Paul, and the Commission. Enough is enough. We will be exploring all options, including legal action, to hold accountable those spreading such deliberate and harmful lies."

Jake Paul began his professional boxing career in 2018 against Deji Olatunji in Manchester, as per LADbible. While he has been a globally recognized YouTuber previously, his entry into the professional boxing world was a surprise for many.

Paul furiously joined the thread of X reactions and conveyed his opinions on Piers Morgan's "baseless and irresponsible" statement. He responded to the posts by stating in the caption,

"After years of letting it slide as just 'haters being haters', I have asked my team to vigorously go after anyone who makes up lies about my boxing career."

He concluded his threatening message, mentioning,

"Expect to get served you pigs"

Over the past seven years, Jake, nicknamed the Problem Child, has competed against MMA fighters, former champions, and YouTubers. Though he has made his name in the athletic world with his high-profile boxing persona, opinions about his boxing career are still polarizing.

He has often been slammed for participating in fake fights. Since the beginning, many have remarked that his performances have mostly been staged. The Dexerto report also stated that Jake Paul's games against Mike Tyson and Tommy Fury were fake, too.

Allegedly, the renowned stars had to follow scripts and perform accordingly. However, rumors related to Tommy were dismissed soon after he defeated Jake in 2023, according to a LADbible report.

Till now, he has finished 13 professional fights and only Tommy Fury could beat him. While his skills might have sharpened over time, he continues to receive backlash and claims of fake games.
