Starz teams with Dear White People's showrunner on Run the World, a comedy about black female friendship

Dear White People's Yvette Lee Bowser and Boomerang writer Leigh Davenport are developing the comedy about a group of "black, vibrant, fiercely loyal best friends" who live, work and play in Harlem "as they strive for world domination." Starz calls Run the World "an unapologetically female show about friendship and not just surviving, but thriving together."
