Omar Sy to play Arsène Lupin in a French original series for Netflix

The X-Men: Days of Future Past and Jurassic World star will play a contemporary version of the world famous fictional gentleman thief and master of disguise that French writer Maurice LeBlanc created in 1905. “I am thrilled to play Arsène Lupin, such a charismatic character in a modern and unique adaptation," says the French actor, whose untitled series will be released in 2020. "Joining Netflix, a service who offers so many diverse and qualitative programmes that I have great joy to discover every time inspires me greatly."
