Olivia Rodrigo will return for Season 3 of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series in the midst of her soaring music career

Rodrigo was named Time magazine's Entertainer of the Year this week after earning seven nominations for her debut album Sour, including being the only artist nominated this year in the "Big Four" categories. Yet Rodrigo tells Time she plans to return to her Disney+ series when it begins filming Season 3 in January. She'll still focus on her music. “Songwriting is the thing I take most seriously in my life,” Rodrigo tells Time. “It’s the most personally gratifying too.”
