Nick Cannon defends himself against criticism that he returned to work too soon after the death of his 5-month-old son

"A lot of people keep asking me, ‘Why you even at work?' Especially my family," Cannon said on today's episode of his daytime talk show. "'Boy you need to go sit down somewhere. You got too many jobs already anyway!' I appreciate all that advice and I know it comes from a place of care but to me this isn't work. This is love." Cannon's son Zen, whom he shared with girlfriend Alyssa Scott, died recently of brain cancer.
