Netflix orders Young Wallender and a French Revolution drama about the inventor of the guillotine

Swedish crime writer Henning Mankell’s popular police inspector character's early career will be explored in the British-Swedish series Young Wallender. Kenneth Branagh and Swedish actor Krister Henriksson played the Wallender character, respectively, in the British and Swedish TV adaptations of Mankells' novels. Netflix has also ordered a drama series revolving around Joseph Guillotin, the future inventor of the guillotine, who investigates a series of mysterious murders and discovers an unknown virus amid the French Revolution.
