Netflix announces a star-studded cast for Green Eggs and Ham, including Michael Douglas and Diane Keaton

Netflix has released a teaser for the 13-part, Ellen DeGeneres-produced animated series based on Dr. Seuss' classic tale. Green Eggs and Ham ,premiering this fall, has been nearly four years in the making, having been announced in April 2015. Michael Douglas will play protagonist Guy Am I, while Adam Devine plays his rival Sam I Am. Also lending their voices are Diane Keaton, Tracy Morgan, Eddie Izzard, Keegan-Michael Key, Ilana Glazer, Jillian Bell, Jeffrey Wright and john Turturro. Netflix describes the 13-episode series as “a postmodern Plains, Trains and Automobiles through the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss. Sam rescues the rare Chickeraffe from the Glurfsburg Zoo, hides it in a briefcase, and attempts to make his way to Meepville where he can charter a cold air balloon to take the Chickeraffe to his island home."
