NBA announces resumption of the season on July 30 as 5% of players test positive for coronavirus

NBA players and staff will be subject to "stringent health and safety protocols" when the 2019-20 season resumes in Orlando. The announcement comes on the same day that Florida has seen the number of coronavirus cases soar to record numbers. It also comes as the NBA has announced that 16 of 302 players have tested positive for the disease.
