Michael Jackson's estate slams ABC News' special on the late singer

Thursday's ABC News special, titled The Last Days of Michael Jackson, is a “crass and unauthorized attempt to exploit [Jackson's] life, music and image," the pop star's estate said, adding: “Imagine if this was done with any of ABC’s intellectual property." The Michael Jackson special airs on Thursday, promising new information about his June 2009 death. ABC News responded to the estate's claims with the following statement: "ABC News’ documentary explores the life, career and legacy of Michael Jackson, who remains of great interest to people worldwide. The program does not infringe on his estate’s rights, but as a courtesy, we removed a specific image from the promotional material.”
