Late-night hosts react to Night 2 Democratic debate jabs at Joe Biden

Jimmy Fallon called Night 2 "Operation Destroy Joe Biden" on his live Tonight Show, while Stephen Colbert described Biden as facing the "Kamala Harris flame thrower." "Tonight, the Joe Cone was met by the Kamala Harris flame-thrower," said Colbert on The Late Show. "He had the Joe Cone, but she had the I-scream-you-scream-holy-cow-she-might-be-president!" On Late Night, Seth Meyers riffed on Eric Swallwell recounting hearing Biden say it was time to pass the torch to a new generation in 1987, when the congressman was 6 years old. "Damn. You're bringing a Biden quote to take down Biden?" said Meyers. "Come on! If anyone is going to take down Joe Biden with a Joe Biden quote, it's Joe Biden."
