Kevin Hart will play a fictionalized version of himself in Quibi action comedy

In Action Scene, Hart becomes the latest A-lister to join the short-form video platform, playing a fictionalized version of himself on a quest to land a major action movie role. "After being rejected for a role, he has a random run-in with an A-list action star, leading to a chain of events that result in Hart fighting his way through several comedically over-the-top action sequences — with cameos by 'some of Hollywood’s biggest action movie heroes' along the way," according to EW. Action Scene was inspired by the opening scene from Hart's 2016 concert film Kevin Hart: What Now?, featuring appearances by Halle Berry, Don Cheadle and Ed Helms.
