Jennifer Lopez and Shakira plan to deliver a "heartfelt" Kobe Bryant tribute during Super Bowl halftime

At today's Super Bowl halftime show press conference, the two performers discussed the late NBA icon and their plans to "spread love and kindness and bring everybody together" during Sunday's halftime show. "Alex came to me with tears in his eyes, and he's like, 'You're not going to believe what happened," Lopez said of first learning about the Bryant's helicopter crash on Sunday from fiancé Alex Rodriguez. "He was devastated. He knew Kobe really well. I knew Kobe and Vanessa more in passing. He had come to my last show in Vegas—the both of them—as a date night and we had a beautiful night that night."
