Gayle King signs a new deal with CBS News to stay at CBS Mornings

King agreed to a new deal amid speculation over her future with the network. Her contract was due to expire in May. “I still feel that in many ways I’m just getting started,” King told listeners of her SiriusXM radio program on Friday. During her radio show, King said she was impressed by CBS News’ plans for the future under co-presidents Neeraj Khemlani and Wendy McMahon, including its CBS Streaming Network reboot. King also confirmed she was courted by other networks, without going into details.
