Fox News opts not to air Donald Trump's Saturday night speech live

The former president's first major speech since February was also not shown live on CNN, but MSNBC decided to air portions of the speech as background while commentators spoke over it. "CNN even devoted a bit more attention to the speech than Fox News," reports Slate's Daniel Politi. "While Fox News decided to air a pre-taped Watters World show while the former president was speaking, CNN did have a segment in which guests discussed Trump’s speech and talked about how the former president seemed to be losing power."
