Daytime Emmy nominations: General Hospital tops all nominees, while The Kelly Clarkson Show scores seven nods for its debut season

General Hospital's 23 nominations edged out Days of Our Lives‘ 22. Kelly Clarkson's freshman daytime talk show earned the most nominations of any daytime talk show, including for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show and Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host. The Daytime Emmys will air on TV for the first time in five years on CBS on June 26.
