CBS to air Love Island five days a week this summer

The adaptation of the hit British reality show will premiere on Tuesday, July 9 and run five nights a week until its finale on Aug. 7. CBS' announcement comes after Fox scaled back the similar-themed reality show Paradise Hotel from three nights a week to one night after dismal ratings. Love Island will have an interactive element, allowing viewers to "shape events on screen" and crown one of the couples the winner.
