Bridgerton's Jonathan Bailey recalls feeling pressure to hide his sexuality early in his career

The 33-year-old Anthony Bridgerton actor said early in his career, he decided to come out, telling GQ: "I reached a point where I thought, 'F*ck this. I'd much prefer to hold my boyfriend's hand in public or be able to put my own face picture on Tinder and not be so concerned about that than getting a part." Since joining Bridgerton, Bailey has become a heartthrob to male and female viewers. But the British actor said he isn't quite fond of using such terminology to describe himself. "Any actor who thinks they're a sex symbol? Cringe," he said.
