Amazon orders a French TV series follow-up to Cédric Klapisch's The Spanish Apartment trilogy

What began as The Real World-esque L'auberge espagnole (The Spanish Apartment) in 2002 starring Romain Duris and Yellowstone's Kelly Reilly spawned two sequels: Les poupées russes (Russian Dolls) in 2005 and Casse-tête chinois (Chinese Puzzle) in 2013. Now Klapisch is making a sequel series titled Greek Salad, focusing on the lives of Tom and Mia, the children of Duris' Xavier and Reilly's Wendy, as they set off on a new adventure in Athens. Greek Salad is expected to premiere in 2022.
