Cousins Kaz and Ryan Firpo, who wrote the $400-grossing Marvel film The Eternals, are writing and executive producing The Islands. The potential series is inspired by true events, delving into American Imperialism, the fall of a kingdom and the changing of a way of life. Lin and Yeun will serve as executive producers.
