Teen Mom star Kail Lowry opened up about her personal life on the Give Them Lala podcast, which aired on June 27, 2025. Speaking with host Lala Kent, Kail shared how she manages life with seven kids, four co-parents, and no plans to date again.
“I get a lot of s**t [from the public] for leaving my kids’ dads, because I left all of them,” Kail said during the conversation.
She revealed that her ex Elijah Scott, with whom she shares three children, now lives next door. While they are no longer together, she takes the kids over to his house in a wagon for his parenting time.
Kail also addressed speculation about her dating life, denying claims that she’s seeing anyone new.
“I don’t need a man to come forward and come into my life and do the things. I don’t need it,” she said.
She added that her decision to have her fallopian tubes removed after welcoming twins in 2023 brought “instant regret,” but it was something she had to consider seriously after years of raising children and managing co-parenting dynamics.
Teen Mom star Kail explained that co-parenting isn’t the same with every father. While she shares 50/50 custody with Jo Rivera and Javi Marroquin, she has a 90/10 arrangement with Chris Lopez, partly due to past issues and his current location.
“What I know about Jo and his parenting style, and what I know about Javi and his parenting style, I think they’re all very different,” Kail said.
Teen Mom star Kail mentioned that she no longer communicates with Jo since their son Isaac is now 15 and more independent. She described most of her pregnancies as unplanned, except for her fourth child, Creed. “Creed, Number 4, was the most trying time in my life,” Kail said, sharing that she had once considered ending the pregnancy but chose to continue.
When asked about the hardest part of raising seven children, Kail said it’s making sure each child gets individual attention.
“Even if it’s just five or ten iminutes that we carve out every single day… that is challenging,” she explained.
Teen Mom star Kail Lowry discussed the different ways she communicates with each of her co-parents, depending on their relationship and the age of the child they share. While she maintains active co-parenting agreements with some, she said she no longer speaks to Jo Rivera, the father of her eldest son, Isaac.
“I don’t speak to Jo about anything, for any reason. There’s nothing I really have to say to him at this point… if I needed to text him I would, but I just don’t have to,” Kail said.
She also talked about her relationship with ex-husband Javi Marroquin, explaining that despite their past issues, they’ve worked to keep things focused on their son Lincoln.
“No matter how many personal issues got in the way… him and I always maintained what’s in the best interest of Lincoln,” she said.
However, the timing of the podcast might explain why Kail didn’t mention certain things. On June 2, Javi went on Instagram Live and criticized her, but she didn’t talk about it during the episode. It’s possible the interview was recorded before that happened.
Kail also said that parenting is different with each dad, so she tries to handle things in a way that avoids problems.
