Love Island USA season 7 aired a new episode on July 4, 2025, where the Islanders reflected on their relationships after seeing how viewers had ranked them in recent public votes. The episode showed several one-on-one talks, as the Islanders tried to figure out where they stood with each other and how the public saw them.
Chelley and Ace, who were once seen as a strong couple, talked about their connection after finding out they had often been ranked near the bottom in public votes. During a private conversation,
“Like I was surprised to see you at the bottom all those times. I was surprised to see myself at the bottom at all of those times,” Chelley admitted.
She also said she was confused about why people saw them that way, especially in voting areas like “most genuine” and “trustworthy.”
Meanwhile, Amaya and Zak, who had a disagreement during a recent challenge, chose to move forward as friends. Even though the romantic part had ended, they wanted to stay respectful. Chelley also had an important talk with Chris, where they cleared up things from their past connection.
Love Island USA season 7 is available to stream on Peacock.
After landing near the bottom in several public votes, Chelley and Ace sat down for a serious talk about where they stood as individuals and as a couple. Chelley shared that she was surprised by the results and didn’t expect to see either of them ranked so low in Love Island USA.
She said she didn’t understand why the public seemed disconnected from their connection, especially since the voting included qualities like “most genuine” and “trustworthy,” which she felt matched Ace. In her confessional, Chelley added that she was confused about how people saw her and wasn’t sure what she might have said or done to cause that reaction.
“Y’all really not f**king with me. Like, I don’t know what I did to you guys. I don’t know what I said. I’m genuinely confused,” Chelley added.
Ace focused on making sure Chelley felt supported, sharing that what mattered most to him was how she viewed him. He said he didn’t want the public rankings to change the way she saw him. While they didn’t make any final decision about their relationship, the conversation showed that both were thinking seriously about where they stood as the season moved forward.
Following a tense disagreement during a recent challenge, Amaya and Zak took time to clear the air. Zak said he should have handled the situation differently and mentioned that some things would have been better discussed in private. He explained that he was trying to bring energy to the moment but realized he went too far when he saw Amaya upset.
“There was obviously certain things I should have spoke to in private… I thought, let’s bring some heat type of sh*t,” he said.
Amaya also admitted that her reaction was not okay, especially for telling Zak to “shut the f**k up.” She apologized, and Zak responded calmly, saying he still respected her and understood why she reacted that way.
In her confessional, Amaya said the romantic part of their relationship was probably over from her side in Love Island USA. Still, she added that they remained good friends and both wanted to move forward respectfully and with maturity.
