Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service aired its July 16 episode, where Ramsay visited a seafood restaurant run by three sisters. Right away, he saw problems in the kitchen and between the sisters.

At one point, he told them, “You’re not even united as sisters,” showing how their lack of teamwork was hurting the business.

Before arriving, Ramsay got a message from someone at the restaurant asking for help.

When he got there, he told the team this was a business and not a place for personal fights. He said everyone had the chance to make things better if they took the job seriously.

During the episode, Ramsay found dirty work areas, old food being used, and staff not acting professionally. He shared that in his own restaurants, teams meet twice a day to talk about their work.

By the end of the visit, Ramsay asked them to work together and clean the place properly. Some staff said it was a wake-up call, and they were ready to improve.

Staff division and lack of leadership come to light in Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service

During this episode of Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service, Ramsay pointed out that the three sisters running the seafood restaurant were not working well together. He said their arguments and lack of communication were affecting the whole team and making it hard for the business to run properly.

“You’re not even united as sisters for goodness sake,” he said during a tense team meeting, urging them to work together.

One of the sisters admitted that they had recently been pointing fingers at each other but added,

“At the end of the day, these are my sisters and we’ve got to stick together.”

Ramsay responded by stressing the importance of clarity, teamwork, and consistent communication, pointing out that none of his restaurants operate without two daily meetings to check on performance and accountability.

He reminded everyone that this wasn’t just a personal project but a serious business. “Understand how far we’ve fallen off the cliff,” he said, asking each person to think about how they may have added to the problems and to start helping fix things.

Ramsay’s direct approach appeared to make an impact, as some of the sisters expressed a willingness to move forward as a united team.

Kitchen hygiene and standards under fire in Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service

In the second half of the episode in Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service, Ramsay turned his attention to the kitchen team, where he found several issues related to hygiene, food quality, and basic discipline.

“You can’t put a chef’s jacket on and apron on and start pretending that you’re chefs,” he told two male staff members, frustrated by their lack of seriousness and cleanliness.

He called out the use of old seafood, showing hardened calamari and leftover fries, asking one of the cooks, “Would you serve that to your family?” When the cook replied no, Ramsay pressed further, asking why customers should be served that quality of food.

He also noticed a dangerous kitchen setup that could cause a fire and made them aware of the risks in Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service.

A lack of respect for the premises and the business itself was another major concern. Ramsay criticized the kitchen team for acting “too cool for school” and ordered them to clean the place thoroughly, stating it should be done like it’s never been cleaned before.

One staff member later admitted, “Everything he’s saying is correct. I would say it’s a wake-up call.”

Ramsay also stressed the need to use the POS system correctly, keep the place clean, and respect the owners. By the end of the episode, some team members admitted their mistakes and said they wanted to improve.
