Usagi as well is haunted by the memories of her time in Borderland as she resumes her normal life in the real world. She hallucinates a lobby full of massacred women and people cheering for it, which causes her panic and anxiety. 

The trailer then proceeds to show a montage of scenes involving the characters in Borderland. Arisu finds an unconscious Usagi at the hospital, which leaves him devastated. He is approached by a man in a suit offering him a chance to return to Borderland and also informs him of Usagi’s whereabouts. As the clip heads towards its end, Arisu and others are seen participating in various new games in the parallel reality of Borderland, with Arisu hell-bent on getting Usagi back to reality again.

The Japanese sci-fi thriller series Alice in Borderland season 3 was written by Yasuko Kuramitsu and Shinsuke Sato, with the latter also directing all the episodes.
