The Future of Stand-Up Comedy is Female in Hysterical Trailer

The trailer for the new FX documentary Hysterical showcases the new wave of stand-up comedy and the struggles that the women at the forefront of this traditionally male-dominated and often misogynistic industry have had to push through to find success. Among the comics featured are Kelly Bachman, Margaret Cho, Fortune Feimster, Rachel Feinstein, Marina Franklin, Nikki Glaser, Judy Gold, Kathy Griffin, Jessica Kirson, Lisa Lampanelli, Wendy Liebman, Carmen Lynch, Bonnie McFarlane, Sherri Shepherd and Iliza Shlesinger.

Hysterical premieres April 2 on FX.
