The police detained Richard Tillman on Sunday, July 20, after a car crash and alleged arson incident, KRON4 reported. The suspect is the youngest brother of Pat Tillman, the late U.S. soldier and Arizona Cardinals star. Richard’s older sibling left his NFL career to enlist in the Army after the September 11 attacks and was killed by friendly fire in Afghanistan.

Apart from being known as Pat’s youngest brother, Richard Tillman also had an acting career. According to IMDb, he was born on January 24, 1981, in Santa Clara and appeared in Superhero Movie, NCIS, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Over Her Dead Body, and more. Richard has been inactive since 2010, with his last role appearing in Trading Eights.

Tillman appears to be active on YouTube and often streams on his channel named after his new identity. The former actor, who claims to be “Yeshua HaMashiach” (translates to Jesus the Messiah), appears to live in his vehicle and maintains that Richard died two years ago. In a livestream on January 24, 2025, the YouTuber said—

“Hey y’all, [it’s] Yeshua in me vehicle, aka me house. So, we’re bearing down on the end of Richard Tillman’s birthday. So, Richard Tillman’s birthday was today [January 24], unfortunately. He died when he was 42, so he died two years ago.”

Tillman’s content is centered around conspiracy theories and he has publicly criticized several figures and institutions, including his family, the U.S. government, and more.

The authorities are investigating Richard Tillman for allegedly intentionally crashing his car into the Almaden Valley Post Office

According to the San Jose Fire Department, firefighters responded to a fire that broke out at the Almaden Valley Post Office located on the 6500 block of Crown Blvd. The SJFD revealed that it received the call at 2:58 a.m. while the situation was contained around 4:31 a.m. The authorities are investigating the possibility of a deliberate car crash. Matthew Norfleet, postal inspector, said (via ABC7 News),

“Postal inspectors are investigating as an intentional act, it will be determined in a court of law if it was but it does not look like an accident so far.”

According to investigators, the suspect reportedly left a graffiti message—“viva la me”—on the front of the building. Per KRON4, Norfleet said that Richard Tillman might have broadcast his intentions online before the incident. Based on his YouTube activity, the suspect streamed his last video a few days ago. He said in his final live stream,

“What I need to do is absolutely prove who I am. And I will do that. I will do that. And it won't be through thunder and lightning. It won't be through any of the Mother Nature parts. Maybe afterwards my highest self will do. That part I haven't told myself. But as far as the next phase of the game, I know what needs to be done.”

    Richard Tillman added,

“I'm going to take down the whole system without killing one f***ing person. Other than what I do in the spiritual realm. Those deaths are different.”

He also claimed that he would take down the U.S. and other world governments. Richard also said—

“I will absolutely prove that I put myself down here to f***ing put myself in the Tillman family to f*** up the whole system down here and to make the planet evolve.”

According to ABC7 News, police booked him into the Santa Clara County Jail following his arrest.
