In a surprising turn of events, Twitch recently banned Jynxzi briefly.

According to a report by Dexerto, a hacker unexpectedly hacked the renowned streamer's account during his livestream on July 17. He was playing Clash Royale when the sudden technical invasion occurred.

Nearly an hour after the broadcast, he retrieved his official account.

After the cyberpunk attacked on Jynxzi's account, they were seen changing his livestream title. Without delaying further, Twitch banned the 23-year-old streamer's account swiftly.

According to the Economic Times report, his followers were shocked by not being able to access the streamer's channel on the platform. Right after the distressing event, the Twitch star officially confirmed the ban on his X (formerly Twitter) account, noting,

"Just got banned on Twitch temporarily because someone hacked into my account. Hopefully we can return today."

In a follow-up post, Jynxzi shared the email he received from Twitch stating that he was permanently banned for “hacking and platform manipulation.”

On July 18, 2025, Jynxzi shared a screenshot of the official suspension mail sent by Twitch with the subject,

"Your Twitch account Jynxzi has been permanently suspended."

    The platform mailed the streamer,

"Twitch is committed to keeping our community safe for everyone, and as a part of that, we require all users to ensure that anything shared on their account abides by Twitch's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines."

Elaborating on their regulations, they noted,

"Based on a review of your activity or content, we have issued a global suspension on your account. Due to the severe nature of this violation, or the fact that you've incurred multiple violations, your access to Twitch services is indefinitely restricted."

Describing the reason behind the decision, the mail detailed "Hacking and Platform Manipulation," noting,

"Engaging in activities that demonstrate or facilitate the disruption of private, government or Twitch services through DDoS, hacking, exploits, phishing, viruses, and other such tools."

Further detailing the "examples of violative content include, but are not limited to," the official mail by Twitch mentioned in three points,

    • "Displaying or otherwise being confirmed to have participated in a DDoS attack against another person or private system"
    • "Demonstrating non-consensual hacking of private systems or networks"
    • "Disrupting and/or tampering with the integrity of Twitch services"

Netizens seem worried and confused after the news of Jynxzi's suspension was confirmed. Despite the suspension, he received support from his fans worldwide.

X user @cs2jake responded to Jynxzi's post, noting,

"Twitch isn’t that stupid they’re gonna get you unbanned"

Netizens @playuphunty suggested the Twitch star,

"Just go live on offline channel"

Twitch revoked the ban in around 41 minutes, and Jynxzi was able to operate his account as earlier. In fact, he could stream right after the end of his brief suspension.

As the Economic Times confirmed on Friday, no information about the hacker has been discovered yet. Before Jynxzi, several other Twitch streamers also encountered similar instances where someone hacked into their accounts, leading to a temporary suspension on the platform.

A phisher hacked globally renowned social media creator Kai Cenat's Twitch profile in April. They also changed his name and profile details during the hack. To bring the situation under control, the streaming platform banned his account shortly.
