Preston Ordone, lovingly known as the Okay Baby on the internet, passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 2.

Months after the tragic loss, his mom, Katelynn Ordone, opened up about not remembering the accident that killed the little one, the Daily Mail reported.

The social media influencer reflected on the heartwrenching incident in a long TikTok video posted recently.

In this new TikTok video, Katelynn admitted to having forgotten about the accident and everything that occurred in the next "two to three days." Her serious brain injury caused her to forget life events.

She talked about having a 19-minute-long conversation with her father, Glen Norris, on a phone call. After her dad discussed their chat with her after the disheartening moments, she was "shocked" to hear something she did at that time.

According to the Daily Mail report, the influencer mommy recited the Lord's Prayer. Sharing further about it, she said in her video,

"I have heard of it. I recognize it when I hear it, but I did not — still do not — know it well enough to recite it perfectly."

While Katelynn fails to remember things she did or said to her father, the incident brought a ray of hope into her life. She acknowledged the divine power and noted how God's blessings helped her to navigate through life in these dire times.

    She expressed:

"Without God, I wouldn't know that Preston's at perfect peace right now. I still have a long journey, a long ways to go. I feel like I truly, truly could not get through this without [God]."

While discussing the episodes she forgot and how she has been on her journey now, she also looked back at the tragic car accident. Describing the dreadful experience as "the hardest thing" she has had to endure, she lamented,

"The accident was awful, and somehow I was able to get my hold of my phone."

Recounting about dialling 911, Katelynn further noted:

"I called 911 first. I was on the phone with them for five minutes. The only reason I know that is because I saw it in my call logs, and then my parents have told me that I called them."

She could only speak about sharing her location with the authorities, as she forgot the rest.

Later in the video, she also revealed having a conversation with her mother over a phone call. Detailing everything she remembered, she recalled,

"I was on the phone with my mom for about five minutes. She said she could just hear the pain in my voice. I was groaning in pain, and she said she just couldn't handle it anymore."

Unable to bear Ordone's trauma, her mother passed the phone to her father. This was when they had a deep conversation for around 19 minutes. In her TikTok video, she explained,

"My dad told me that he kept asking where I was, and I kept saying, 'I don't know' ... He could hear people asking me if I had kids, and I was saying, 'I don't know.' I was just out of it."

Recalling further the experiences she faced, she told the viewers,

"There was moments that I could talk, there was moments that I was just groaning and moaning in pain, and then there was moments of silence where I wasn't talking at all."

Everything we know about the Ordone family's major accident

Katelynn, Jaelan, and Preston met with a life-threatening accident while traveling on a Ford F-150 eastbound on I-12. The vehicle diverged from the path and hit a tree.

As People reported, the Louisiana State Police released a press release on April 25 detailing the accident where the juvenile passenger died.

    As per the authorities,

"The preliminary investigation indicates that a 2011 Ford F-150 was traveling eastbound on I-12 when, for reasons still under investigation, the vehicle veered off the roadway to the right and struck a tree."

The police department also confirmed that the driver and front passenger suffered severe injuries and were admitted to a local hospital.

    The statement further read:

"Preston, who was seated in the rear, but improperly restrained in a child safety seat, also sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. As part of the ongoing investigation, a routine toxicology sample was collected from the driver for analysis."

Two of Katelynn Ordone's loved ones spoke about the accident in an Instagram video, shared on April 27, 2025.

The man appearing in the video update said:

"Katelynn and the family has asked us to make a video to update you guys and kind of explain what happened."

A woman named Brielle featured on the video and disclosed saddening details about the tragic event, elaborating,

"Katelynn, Jaelan and Preston were involved in an accident."

Luckily, Paisley was at her school at that time. She was not with her family inside the vehicle during the crash.

    Brielle further continued:

"We don't know all the details yet but their truck veered to the right off the interstate and struck a tree and unfortunately, Preston didn't make it. Katelynn and Jaelan are severely injured. Katelynn has multiple broken bones. She had a very bad concussion. She walked for the first time today. Jaelen had to have emergency surgery on one of his legs. He has rods in them, pins in them. They’re both at different hospitals."

    Updating about Preston, she added,

"Preston was removed from the vehicle and brought to the hospital and they tried everything that they could."
