Netflix wants more monstrous tales from Ryan Murphy.

The streamer announced today that it had ordered two new installments of Monster following the success of Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story. The series, which is expected to surpass 1 billion viewing hours in the weeks ahead, has shattered records for the streamer since its September debut. The future seasons of Monster will "tell the stories of other monstrous figures who have impacted society."

In addition to Monster, Netflix has also renewed Murphy's real estate thriller The Watcher for a second season. Based on the terrifying true story of a Westfield, New Jersey, family terrorized by a series of increasingly creepy letters, the series stars Naomi Watts, Bobby Cannavale, Jennifer Coolidge, and more.

"Audiences can't take their eyes off Monster and The Watcher," said Bela Bajaria, Netflix's Head of Global TV. "The creative team of Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan on Monster along with Eric Newman on The Watcher are masterful storytellers who captivated audiences all over the world. The back-to-back force of these two series is due to Ryan’s distinct original voice which created cultural sensations and we are thrilled to continue telling stories in the Monster and Watcher universes."

The Watcher and Dahmer: Monster - The Jeffrey Dahmer Story are streaming on Netflix.
