The passengers of Montego Air Flight 828 may still be unsure what exactly will happen on their death date, but at least one Manifest mystery is solved: Netflix has announced that the final 10 episodes will premiere on June 2.

It’s a fitting release date that plays up the series’ mantra: “It’s all connected.” The show follows the lives of the 191 passengers and crew members aboard a mysterious flight that disappeared and then reappeared five years later. Upon returning to their lives, those on the flight began hearing voices and seeing visions, which have come to be known as “callings” guiding them to help others and unravel deeper mysteries about the world. One such mystery is that of June 2, 2024, first mentioned in Season 1 as the date that all passengers from Flight 828 would die. A Netflix teaser for the final episodes reiterates the importance of the date and its prominence in the series — in the promo, the characters says “June 2” at least seven times. If it’s all connected, is the number seven a clue?

By the end of Season 4, Part 1, it’s revealed that the “death date” has even bigger implications: It marks the end of the world. Netflix’s synopsis for Season 4, Part 2 implies that whether or not that actually comes to fruition, big things will happen along the way.

“In the aftermath of Angelina unleashing a devastating volcanic fissure, the passengers face severe scrutiny in a world fueled by 828er hate, no longer free to solve their own Callings without constant supervision by the unscrupulous 828 Registry,” Netflix teases. “A mysterious accident delivers ominous warnings on a biblical scale that will further jeopardize the livelihood of all the passengers.”

Manifest creator Jeff Rake originally pitched the series with a six-season arc. That plan was thwarted when NBC, the series’s first home, canceled it after three seasons in June 2021, On August 28, 2021 (8/28 day, Flight 828, it’s all connected!), Netflix picked up Manifest for a fourth and final season, and while Rake won’t be able to play out the entire arc he had planned, he is still able to provide closure. The final episodes will feature original cast members Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, J.R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Parveen Kaur, Matt Long, Holly Taylor, Daryl Edwards, and Ty Doran as teenage Cal.
