Jason Ritter is joining the Yellowjackets family.

The actor will guest star in an episode of the Showtime drama, once again playing opposite wife Melanie Lynskey after appearing in Hulu drama Candy earlier this year. "Cat's out of the bag," Ritter tweeted about the news, using emojis.

Ritter joins previously announced Season 2 cast members Elijah Wood, Simone Kessell, and Lauren Ambrose, who will play new character Walter, adult Lottie, and adult Van, respectively.

Yellowjackets was recently renewed for a third season ahead of its Season 2 premiere. Starring Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Juliette Lewis, and Tawny Cypress, the series follows four women as they navigate their adult lives and try to process the 1996 plane crash that left their high school soccer team stranded in the remote Canadian wilderness for 19 months. Alternating between present day and the girls' traumatic time in the wild, Yellowjackets stars Sophie Nélisse, Samantha Hanratty, Sophie Thatcher, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Ella Purnell, Courtney Eaton, and Liv Hewson as the teenagers.

Showtime subscribers will have access to the Season 2 premiere on Friday, March 24, followed by an on-air debut March 26.

Yellowjackets Season 1 is streaming on Showtime.
