The Crown has faced all kinds of criticism, especially in recent weeks. One particularly silly qualm fans have with the show? That Dominic West and Olivia Williams are too hot to play Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles.

When asked about this criticism by Variety, West and Williams responded with their own jokes. "Well, I think there's something in that, you know," said West. "I've had worse."

"[The production] will just have to try and suppress how very deeply hot we are for Season 6," Williams added. West also revealed that he had read "every single" review of the series he could get his hands on since Season 5 debuted November 9, while Williams touted her "astonishing ability to ignore all press".

This season of The Crown depicts the tumultuous divorce of Prince Charles and Princess Diana (Elizabeth Debicki) and the affair between Charles and Parker Bowles. The series caught flack in the weeks leading up to the Season 5 release for not including a fictional disclaimer, prompting the cast and crew to defend the show and its depiction of the royal family.

The Crown Seasons 1-5 are currently streaming on Netflix.
