Atlanta Season 4 Trailer Is More 'Grounded' Than Ever

The new trailer focuses more on the series regulars than Season 3.
  • FX has released the trailer for the fourth and final season of Atlanta during their panel at the 2022 virtual TCA press tour.

Based on the trailer, Season 4 appears to be more focused on the series regulars than Season 3, with the characters back in their hometown of Atlanta, after a season spent in Amsterdam.

During the press tour, series star and creator Donald Glover called the upcoming season more "grounded" than before, adding, "I think it explores people more than we have before because I feel like we are right now kind of living in a time where you just don't give people the benefit of the doubt."

He also told reporters that for Season 4, he and the other writers agreed to "have more fun."

"You can literally do whatever you want with the time you have here," said Glover.

Season 4 of Atlanta will run for 10 episodes and premieres on FX September 15 at 10:00 PM before streaming on Hulu the next day. The first three seasons of the show are currently available to stream on Hulu.
