Bryan Braman passed away on July 17, 2025 at the age of 38. He leaves behind two beloved daughters.
His agent released a statement to ESPN NFL reporter Adam Schefter, as People cited, and stated the news of his demise. As Adam stated, he passed away after his battle with a "rare, aggressive form of cancer."
The former NFL linebacker Bryan was often seen announcing energetic pre-game speeches. As the news of his demise began making rounds on the internet, his old videos of addressing his teammates have been making rounds on social media.
People reported that the Philadelphia Eagles player was in Seattle as he was undergoing his cancer treatment procedures. From his diagnosis to medical examinations, he had a series of operations. Over time, his health conditions worsened.
In a conversation with NBC affiliate KPRC, his agent Sean Stellato expressed his affection for Braman, saying,
"Bryan, people saw this enormous human being, but his heart was as big as his body. His spirit was so motivating. He was so real and genuine with everybody. That made him special."
He further continued,
"It's hard. I feel like I lost my firstborn. This kid, he gave me his bed every time I came to Philadelphia. He would threaten me if I didn't stay with him. That's something I'll always cherish. My heart hurts today."

Bryan was known for his iconic and cheerful speeches ahead of clashing against competitors on the field. While chatting in the 2023 podcast, they can be heard remembering the Houston Texans athlete's lively narrations.
Starting at the 2:19 timestamp, Bryan Braman said to his teammates with a high spirit,
"I am looking for a m*therfucking pink papa smoke at the back of the next m*therfucker's head that don't take off. Let's go."
On July 17, the Houston Texans expressed the football team's grief at losing Bryan Braman in an X post. Their official statement reads,
"We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Bryan Braman. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Braman family during this difficult time."
The Houston Texans signed Bryan Braman in 2011 and he contributed to his team until 2013, completing his third and final season. He joined the National Football League as an undrafted free agent out of West Texas A&M. Soon he emerged as a standout on special teams during his three seasons in Houston.
Throughout his impressive football career Braman played for the Houston Texans, Philadelphia Eagles and New Orleans Saints. He was with the Philadelphia Eagles from 2014 to 2017 for four seasons. He won Super Bowl LII with this team in the 2017–18 season.
He also had a brief stint with the New Orleans Saints in August 2017 during a training camp.
