The Walking Dead casts Tony nominee and deaf actress Lauren Ridloff

Ridloff, who was nominated for a Tony this year for Children of a Lesser God, will appear in a multi-episode arc on the AMC series as a deaf character who uses sign language to communicate. Her character, Connie, is "a seasoned survivor deft at using her senses to read people, situations, and trouble."
