The Walking Dead actress says she received an apology over Negan's misogynistic "fat lady" insult

Ann Mahoney, who appeared on 12 episodes of the AMC series as Olivia, was the target of Negan's insults in the Season 7 episode "Service." Mahoney said on the Talk Dead to Me podcast that former showrunner Scott M. Gimple later apologized for the insult. “Gimple called me and was, like, ‘I just want you to know that I’m sorry about that line, but Negan’s an a**hole, and so he says asshole things,'" she said. "He’s, like, ‘But none of us think of you like that, but it just kind of shows everybody what a misogynist he is, basically.'"
