Why was The View and particularly Meghan McCain all over the news this week? E! News reports that before the pandemic, The View stars were prevented from "hiding from each other" on the Manhattan set before the show, resulting in eased tension in hair and makeup. "Then once the show goes off the air, the panelists all walk off set together, and there is almost always a post-show meeting—allowing the hosts to smooth over any tension that may have bubbled over during the day's episode," a source says. But with remote filming, The View stars are unable to patch things up before and after each show.
