Stephen King's The Institute to be adapted as a limited series from David E. Kelley and Jack Bender

Kelley is teaming with the Lost director on a limited series adaptation of King's new novel, which hits shelves today. The Institute revolves around Luke Ellis, "whose parents are murdered in the middle of the night by intruders. Luke wakes up at The Institute in a room that looks just like his own, except there’s no window," per Variety. "Outside his door are other doors, behind which are other kids with special talents, such as telekinesis and telepathy, who got there the same way Luke did." The Institute doesn't yet have a network home.
