New Amsterdam and How to Get Away with Murder writer Erika Green Swafford will adapt and Good Girls creator Jenna Bans will produce the potential series based on Bim Adewunmi's 2018 Buzzfeed article “Meet the Women Who Are Building a Better Romance Industry," which focused on a trio of Black women who are challenging the old, predominantly white narratives of who gets to fall in love while exploring self-love and society’s beauty standards.
