Paul Darrow, British cult sci-fi TV favorite and Doctor Who alum, dies at 78

Darrow was best known for playing the "sardonic, egomaniacal, and routinely insulting anti-hero" Kerr Avon on the low-budget sci-fi series Blake's 7. He also had roles on Doctor Who and Little Britain and once shared an apartment with Ian McShane and John Hurt while studying at London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
