NFL officially announces a wild card Monday night playoff game on Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Instead of having three playoff games on Saturday and three on Sunday on wild card weekend, the "Super Wild Card Weekend" expansion will allow for two games on Saturday, three on Sunday and one on Monday night. The first wild card playoff Monday night playoff game will take place on Jan. 17, Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
