Lifetime is more than doubling its number of Christmas-themed movies as it tries to keep up with Hallmark Channel

The cable network is expanding from six Christmas season movies last year to 14 this year, with a movie starring Toni Braxton as its centerpiece. Last year, Lifetime aired movies such as A Very Merry Toy Story, which re-teamed Holiday in Handcuffs stars Mario Lopez and Melissa Joan Hart.
