Kelly Slater to star in ABC's Ultimate Surfer reality competition series

The 11-time World Surf League champion will helm the eight-episode series featuring top up-and-coming surfers in competition with each other, as they battle it out at the league’s state-of-the-art Surf Ranch in Lemoore, California, which employs by Kelly Slater’s man-made wave technology. Male and female surfers will compete in individual and team challenges focused on specific surfing disciplines. Slater is expected to serve as a special correspondent for the show.
