Former Baldwin Hills star Gerren Taylor dies at 30

Taylor, who died in her sleep Sunday morning of unknown causes, was one of the stars of the 2007-2009 BET reality show Baldwin Hills, focusing on teens in the Baldwin Hills district of Los Angeles. Baldwin Hills was considered the African-American version of Laguna Beach. Taylor had been battling with lupus and was on dialysis during the time of her death, but it has not been reported to be related to the cause. She leaves behind a 7-year-old daughter.
